College Work
Fivepoint Amphitheatre
After high school during the summer of 2021 our theatre manager offered me a job through a union called Local 504. I work summers, 2021 and currently, as a stagehand usually doing electricals for concerts. I've worked pyrotechnics, electrics and video for people like Halsey, Pitbull and the Backstreet Boys. I usually do load out, like a strike, and sometimes work load ins. My job includes taking down and apart trusses, loading lights into road cases and coil cable clusters. I also was lucky enough to sit with the board operator for Pitbull and watch them work.
Tesoro
I haven't had the time to take as many pictures as I'd have liked to but this above picture is from the Tesoro production of a Midsummer Night's Dream set in 1965 Hawaii. I was recommended by my high school theatre teacher to the Tesoro theatre teacher who hired me to basically design the lighting for her and teacher the kids about lighting. The kids had spent a long time online and hadn't learned any of the technical programming and and board work. I helped the girl who designed it program, taught her how to program, fixed their lights and different problems with the tech. I also don't have pictures of my work at Fivepoint amphitheater but I got hired by my old theatre manager to be a stagehand for concerts for Dave Matthews Band, Korn, Pitbull and Brad Paisley, for each of those I usually ran road boxes and worked on electrics, video and pyrotechnics.
